  1. You shouldn't but some do.

  2. of course not ♥

  3. I'll be talking to the "boss" tomorrow to formally give my resignation.  Something tells me I might just get a raise.

  4. Nah, a job gives you weekends off and holidays, a wife doesn't lol.

  5. No way!

  6. Well, if you treat it like a job you won't be happy. However if you do little things here and there to make her feel special then both of you will be happy.

  7. if marriage becomes a job, then your marriage sucks.  Marriage for me is not a job, there are certain things i feel i should do as a wife, but it does not feel like a job, it feels like recess most of the time!

  8. my marriage is a life commitment

  9. Nuh uh. I dont think you should.

Jobs get tiresome and then you begin to hate it after a while. It just gets messy.

Marriage is something you should treasure and be really careful about. It shouldn't be a chore. It'll be hard, but worth it I suppose.

  10. no

  11. no...

  12. noooo

  13. lol..h**l no , i hate my job!

  14. Well, that all depends on your attitude towards it.

All marriages require hard work! In that sense, not only is marriage a job, it's also the *most important job you'll ever have in your life!* It's a job that's more than a job.

I think if more men and women took their commitment to their spouse, as seriously as they took getting up in the morning to go to work, the divorce rate would be lower!

For example: when you go to work, you have to show up, and be their on time every day. When you say you're going to do something, generally, you have to get it done, no excuses. If you're not there, you have to call in and explain where you are and what you're doing, otherwise you risk getting fired. You're obliged to treat your boss and your coworkers with respect, integrity, and ethics,  otherwise you'll probably get fired.  When you clock in in the morning, you don't sneak out during break and go work for your competitors down the street.....'cause you'd get fired, and probably get sued.

I would hope that people would apply those very same values into their marriages, but apparently people don't.

People ought to take their marriages MORE seriously than they take their jobs. After all, you can always find another job, but you can't always find another good marriage.

Like most things in life, a job or a marriage; what you get out of it depends on what you're willing to put into it. For example, if you stay in a job only because you "need the money, "then chances are you'll be miserable no matter what. If you value your job and do it because you enjoy it and don't care about the money, then you'll probably be happy.
