  1. yes!!

most colleges will have you test into

a math class. if you've taken an entire

year off of math, and then try to take a

math exam, you probably won't do too good.

you could end up in a lower math class than

    you should be in.

  2. yeah... it helps for college. when they see you've done more than you have to, you have a higher chance of getting accepted. plus, in california, 3 years is mandatory and 4 years is recommended, so yeah. i planning on taking a fourth year of math as well. it's pretty competitive at my school anyway, so i guess i'll just have to compete! good luck, darling! (:

  3. Yes, It will look good on your college applications!!!!

  4. Yeah they do really want it because they know your not slacking.

  5. It is an extremely good idea.  Right now acceptances at colleges are getting more difficult, the number of applicants have grown considerably over the past decade yet the number of spots available have not changed very much.  So think of it from the college perspective, they have you and another applicant with only one spot open - both equal with grades and extracurricular activities - but you only have the necessities in your senior schedule whereas the other student has subjects such as math that he didn't really need but took anyway - who are they going to choose? Not you.  Plus, there is nothing wrong with getting a little education on a topic just because rather than because the school says your have to do it.

  6. you dont have to but it all depends on where you live, i live in texas the stupid board just suddenley decided out of the blue that kids in texas need 4 math, and 4 science to pass.(but yeah it helps it shows that  you have gone above and beyond).
