  1.   I dont have a 10 month old but when I was like 1 month old i could crawl and when i was like a 6 month old i could stand up at 10 i could walk at 18 months i could talk perfect english around my family. If your baby is doing something like standing and crawling young then be greatful you just had a smart baby.

  2. it just depends. My daughter was walking on halloween last year(she was almost 11 months) but i have a friend whos baby was small when she was born so she is kinda behind in things like this. She is now 20 months old and still is not able to walk.but she will learn.just like yours will.just be patient.all are different.if you want try standing her up in front of you but facing your husband and try to help her walk to him.that is what we did.

  3. my girl was walking at 9 monthes but i think thats early all kids are different

  4. Around 7 months, baby should be able to crawl "commando style" along the floor on its tummy. Around 8 months, babies generally try getting up into the classic crawling position on hands and knees. Once they are strong enough to hold the position on all fours, they then practice rocking back and forth in this position. Then they generally go backwards before mastering the crawl forwards around 9-10 months.

Generally once they have mastered crawling, babies are able to get themselves to the edge of furniture and start pulling themselves up to stand using the furniture as support.

However, these are all the general guidelines, and it is not abnormal for babies to develop at different times to these suggestions. These are guidelines only, and you shouldn't be concerned if your baby doesn't follow these timelines. In fact, many babies do their own thing, and skip steps or do alternative movement patterns such as shuffling along in a sitting position rather than crawling!

My eight month old is just learning how to crawl, but he has been ahead for months. Also, babies may be ahead in one area (such as crawling), but then be slow to walk or slow to talk. It is all very individual and dependent on a large number of factors!

  5. Its ok! She probably excels at something else... check out this list  of what 10 month olds do...

dont know about the chinese symbols lol

  6. Some 10 months only crawl, some pull up and will walk holding on.  My daughter crawled until she was 13 months old.  She would pull up earlier, she just wouldn't walk, then at 13 months, she just started walking unassisted.  My son was pulling up at 7 months and took his first alone steps at 10 months.

  7. Mine was standing, while holding onto boxes, at 5 months. He walked on his own without holding onto anything at the age of 9 months.

But then, he was late to be potty trained (I think that he was 3 yo when he stopped wearing pullups)

But it's no big deal, we all walk now... lol

And walking at a early age like mine can bring complications to the knees for example

  8. my 10 month old son is really naughty, he plays a lot, trying to talk and reply for what ever words we say to him, and laugh, he's already started standing and moving some steps and again he'll sit, after few seconds he'll again stands and walk some steps, :-)

dont worry, its normal she'll be alright, some kids start talking after 2 years and even moving.

everything will be alright :) goodluck

  9. Hey dont worry...they all catch up!! My first was standing at 8 months ( holding on) but my twins are 6.5 months and are not sitting yet...they all develop at different times, it is normal.

  10. When my son was 10 months he was running around (and it was a nightmare! lol).  All babies are different though, boys do tend to crawl, walk etc more quickly because they are usually stronger.  I think girls tend to talk before boys though, my son took quite a while to start talking.

I think I've heard of some babies who don't start crawling before they walk.  They all develop at different rates though, you'll find that your daughter is better at doing some things than other children.  Make the most of it, you might find that suddenly she just starts taking her first steps, and that's when all the hard work starts lol.
