yes just dont see them to late at night. and make little bets with them like : if this movie makes you want to sleep with the lights on then you wont be seeing the rest of them. also if the 12 year old is very scary then try to watch it with ALL the lights on.

That depends upon the 12 year old. My 11 year old has seen them and is fine. But then she knows they are all special effects and make up. In fact she knows how to make "hollywood blood" and can come up with some pretty freaky Halloween makeup on her own. In our family we always discuss what the movie is about before, during and after I've never had any problems with my kids sleeping or going to bed on their own.

And my dad who is a big strong man who would seem to not be afraid of anything was scared.

So i say no, but it is still up 2 you.

NO! This movie is rated R for a reason. The film contains ultra-violent scenes and frightening situations. Wait until the child is at least 16. At 12, the child's mind is still developing and open to suggestions and situations. These images may harm LONG after the film has ended.

well im 21 and I cant watch them. Only because of the blood and gore which makes want to pass out lol but at 12 years old I was watching stuff like that. As long as she's mature enough to understand that it's just a movie and not real life and she's not watching it alone I think it's fine.

Nope, a 12 year old kids shouldn't watch "SAW' Movies. Because it's already rated by MPAA as NC-17 for strong, graphic violence, physical torture and all.

plus i already seen all questions about SAW movies, much people answer it's too sadistic, "hardcore" and "brutal", torture p**n, etc......

i personally love SAW series, but i think it's getting more and more boring. and they should've stop in the 4th movies.

i suggest you watch other movies, but it's up to you anyway.
