  1. Absolutley not.

  2. For a 14 year old, I think 10pm is about as late as you should be going to bed. 10:30-ish a couple of times a during the week. My reason? Lesson number 1 from being a teen: if I could do it all over again, I would have slept a WHOLE bunch more during the night and not on weekend mornings! They say from 14-17ish you really do need 10 or more hours sleep. I believe it's due to hormones.

  3. well at age 14 you need 8 hours of sleep a night so unless you are getting up at 5 am i dont see why you have to go to bed that early

  4. I dont did ur parent told u too i can stay till 1 PM at least i can weak up at 7 AM

  5. My fourteen & 13 yr old kids to to bed at about

    10.30 - 11.30 and get up at 7am.

But they dont need much sleep to function really,, whereas my 16yr old son really does.

  6. Do you mean as in a school day? Well what time do you wake up? A teen needs atlease 8 hours of sleep.

  7. I think 9:30 is good for a school night. You need your rest for school! Otherwise as long as your in the house by 9pm i wouldnt care what time you went to bed as long as you were off of the phone and computer by 11pm. Watch as much tv as you want :)

  8. A person your age should have probably 8 hours of sleep so the from the time you(or whoever) goes to bed from the time he/she wakes up does it equal 8 hrs?

  9. Yes they should. They need sleep so they are more active, healthy and are well behaved. If you don't get much sleep you will usually be more grumpy and present your parents with attitude. I'm 15 and i go to bed at 9:30 so i don't see a problem with it. And personally i wouldnt want to stay up any later  - i agree with my parents.

  10. im almost 14 and during the summer i dont have a bed time

  11. no, they should go to bed earlier

you have school in the morning

stop asking ridiculous questions and wasting my time. . i have beers to drink

    GO TO BED

  12. Not to bed ,but into there room just to give Parents a bit of time to themselves.

  13. I stay up until I'm ready to go to bed. I don't believe in bed times for kids over 10.

  14. No.

that is too early and will leave teens laying in bed awake so then they will not get a good night's sleep.

  15. It might be reasonable...but I would say that is a bit early. My brother, who is 12, and my sister, who is 10 go to bed at 9:30 on a school day and 10:00-10:30 over summer break. I think thats a good time.

  16. Yeah, to stay off the streets where you could get into drugs and alcohol

  17. erm. 9.30 yes on school nights. weekends go to ur room to give ur parents some space.

maybe sugest getting u a tv dvd player in there and hire movies for u for the weekend. some weeklys even.

they will be happy so they get some space lol.

my children eldest is 7 then 4 yrs old have their own tv room for movie nights. i love it lol.

  18. im 14 and my parents make me go to bed at 11 but i dont listen and it is 1:45 A.M. on Friday, July 11, 2008 and im gonna sleep til 1 in the afternoon

  19. No. I go to bed at anywhere from 1-3am and wake up at like 11-12

  20. i dont. i stay up as late as i can!! lol

  22. if you want. rite now im going to bed at 1-3 and waking up usually @ 1. your summer your decision

  23. It depends when you have to get up in the morning. If you have to be up around 5:30 in order to have breakfast, get dressed, get to school on time, then yeah.

You want a solid eight hours of sleep to recover from the stress of the day and give your body a chance to do what it needs to do at a time when it's going through a really complicated set of changes (as I'm sure you know, being in the throes of them).

During the summer, though? If you have nothing compelling you to be out of bed before noon? Why?

  24. Yes, gives the parents a break and some time together ^^

  25. I'm 14, and, like most people, I don't follow the rules about when to sleep. =P

However, it mostly depends on what time you get up. The teenage brain is supposed to have 10 hours of sleep, and if you wake up early (or have somthing to do early in the morning), you would hve to go to bed early. But if you can sleep in, you can stay up.

    Does that make sence?

  26. during the summer and on weekends I stay up till I'm tired and sleep till I wake up, during the school year I go to bed at 10 and get up at 6

during the school year you should probably go to bed at 9;30 to 10 during the summer, stay up as late as you want, but base when you go, by what time you plan to get up.

  27. NO NOT EVEN..IIM 13 AND I GO TO BED WENEVER CUZ ITS SUMMER BUT I HAVE TO START GOING TO BED EARLY CUZ SKOOLS GONNA START AND I HAVE TO GET USED TO IT AGAIN SO YEAHH BUT NO NOT THAT EARLY..

  28. uh no. im 13 and during summer vacation i go to bed whenever. and during school time, i have to in bed by 11 (then again im home-schooled...hmm) anyway i would say no.

  29. Of course not! I'm 14 and can stay up as long as I want to!

  30. i believe they should go bad at 9 and get up at 7. 14year old should get 8 to 10 hours of sleep because they are still growing.

  31. Sure. It's good to sleep.
