  1. No, my sister's mother in law was killed being struck by a bicycle, and that cyclist did her a favor.  However, the charge was hit and run.

    That said, speeding is a moving violation also, and a ticket can be issued for speeding while riding a bicycle - I checked and the law applies to all vehicles, not just motor vehicles.


  2. Yes. Cyclists are required to follow traffic regulations, the same as motor vehicles.

    especially if your on the sidewalk there shouldn't

    be a problem.
