  1. No, because you family  is not.

    You will be a daughter in law to his parents and a sister in law to his siblings as he will be a son in law to yours and brother in law. That is where it ends.

    Your family is nothing of relation to his family by marriage.


  2. Maybe not so close as brothers and sisters.  But it sure is nice when they can get along well enough share the bride and groom fairly.  I'm blessed because my in-laws and my parents could actually all come here for Christmas and there wouldn't be any drama.
