  1. I  just  wish  he  would  try &  sort  out  the  economy, knife  crimes. and  issues  like  that, Not  side-swiping  us  all  with  nonssnce  like  that...In any  case  the  price  of  food  will  automaticly  take  care  of  that.

  2. Is it not  cynical when Gordon Brown tell us not to throw away less food. Did his minions go around all the bins to check his stat's?

It.s even more cynical when he and all the other heads, sit down to eat an 8 course meal while discussing famine in Africa. By the way, how much waste will there be from the tables at the banquet.

  3. I don't care what shape the person is who urges us all not to waste food. We live in a world where people are dying of starvation, and yet wars are fought over fuel for cars. Where supermarkets pay farmers less than it costs them to grow food, so they can sell at prices which not only encourage, but compell us to buy more than we can use in order to maker savings. I live on my own. Why can't I buy meat or other perishables not prepacked in such a way that 30 per cent goes to waste?

I bet Gordon Brown eats unhealthy food on the hoof because he doesn't have time for proper meals. I know what that's like. I work long hours. Quite often, "Lunch" is supplied. It usually means deep fried chicken pieces with fatty dips, meat or veg in pastry parcels, and mini cheese cakes. You're starving, so you eat it, and you get the same for tea.

Yes, he should be asking us to cut out the waste. And he should be taking a flask of soup and a piece of fruit  to work!!

  4. He's hardly fat, and anyway it's a refreshing change from the constant stream of athletic charismatic non-people who run to be politicians these days.

Total sympathies with the first answerer, this question is a perfect example of Daily Mail esque misdirection.

  5. He probably should

  6. he is advising less waste.....eat potato peelings,  and rake in yer neighbours bins for wee treats . l**k your plate clean

and save on washing up products, dog food can be made eatable with a wee drop of bisto, just dont tell em its dog food

they will never notice the difference

  7. No!He ought to be concentrating on!How is He going to get us out of the mess He personally got us into!

  8. I would have thought the state of the economy would have been number one on the menu !

  9. It is a bit like using Amy Whine-house, for example, to advise us on how to give up drink, drugs and smoking, isn't it?

Or getting Keith Vaz to give advice on how to be an honest, genuine, honourable servant of the public...

  10. Gordon broon needs to take no more than porridge for breakfast, a wee bit o haggis for lunch, and go to bed hungry until he gets the poll ratings of the Labour Party in better shape.

That would soon thin him down.

  11. We all certainly should throw away less or maybe buy less in the first place. Don't worry Gordon's new economy plans will ensure we all have a lot less money to spend on food or anything else.

  12. He advised not to throw so much away, not to eat less.

EDIT: Oh good. I got a thumbs down for being able to read.

  13. He wants us to have money to pay his fuel tax thats why
