  1. No means no. It doesn't matter who denies who s*x.  This law does go to far.

  2. Extreme jealousy is reprehensible, but definitely shouldn't become a criminal charge. And I won't even dignify the second part of that law.

  3. Well.  That's Mexico.  Men made the rule.  Ask Mexican legislators.

  4. No - but he shouldn't be beating his wife either. Usually those who accuse are guilty of infidelity themselves.

EDIT - to make and pass a law for jealousy is ridiculous. It's an emotion that sometimes comes out of nowhere. Are they going to imprison people who think of cheating while they are at it? I understand wanting to stop domestic violence, but to imprison someone for having a feeling is insane. We all have passing feelings of insecurity, but that doesn't mean anyone should be locked up for it!

  5. I'd enjoy the vacay myself.

  6. No; what should happen is they both go in for counseling; sticking them in jail is only going to mask it; what does masking do; it hides; masking leads to denial.

  7. LBDSM, the fact that men made the rule means nothing. Why do you assume men can never be feminist? Interesting to see you use men as if you mean "non-feminist". I never use 'women' instead of 'feminist', because I know not all women are feminist.

Can you name even one pro-male senator in ANY democracy, regardless of said senator's gender? You can't. Because the gender of those in power does not matter, feminists pull the strings and run the show. Hardware looks impressive, but the power is in the programming.

This law is extremely sexist. Can the same woman be arrested for refusing s*x when the man asks? This sexist law is based on the confounded assumption that when men refuse s*x, they're 'jealous' of the woman. Why can't people understand men have moods too, and there are times when they don't want s*x for reasons other than jealousy (which is rarely a reason)?

And is jealousy even a punishable offence? If that is so, half the women in the world would be in jail. And I thought 'her body, her choice' was a favourite slogan of pro-choicers and feminists. What about 'his body, his choice'? Or does his body not matter? And to think people diss me so often because I suggest men at least get the right to choose not to pay child support for unwanted children. I was called an 'insensitive, illogical hypocrite who claims to be for equality and isn't half the human being feminists are'. And all this because I suggested a probable solution to a problem. My suggestion isn't even law yet. This is law, and there's no escaping it. Where are these people? I want some of my own back.

    Feminists are such hypocrites.

  8. Bit of a ****** if he's impotent.

Anyway I don't agree with the law, but then I don't live in Mexico. My understanding is that it was felt drastic measures are needed to combat the serious domestic violence problem that Mexico has.

I can't see the Mexican police enforcing this (unless bribed) when they can't even be bothered to investigate cases of rape, torture and murder.

dsds - can you read? the feminists here ARE denouncing it. and women are already raped on a daily basis for refusing s*x in that country as in every country around the world. the VAST majority of which go completely unpunished. the vast majority of which the law enforcers couldn't get a flying **** about

  9. No. It's his body, his choice.

  10. there's actually Mexicans left in Mexico? I thought they were all over here doing jobs we won't do, what ever those are.

    no sesos alla

  11. No.  Neither should a woman be raped or beaten for refusing to have s*x with her husband.

  12. I can't explain anything they do in Mexico.

  13. wow d**n lmao, ok well now i have seen it all, if this law comes to the US than i got to say F feminism and all its BS. my god i can not believe i just read that ****. what the f is wrong with this whole picture............. crimes against women wtf. I'm telling you guys marriage is a bad thing to get into and this is proof of that. God d**n it i can not believe i just read that!!!!!

WHAT....... some here say that this is just fuel to feed the fire for already abusive men, I'm not abusive and it upsets me to see it..... so let me ask you just how much more do you women need to make us afraid of you and once we are then what?

  14. Not to sound sexiest or anything, I think that's a good idea. I don't mean just because they don't want to have s*x with their wifes but I think extreme jealous men/husbands should get away from their wifes. Because some women just feel like they are being sufficated and they don't know how to get away from their husbands. If they do know how to get away from them then they are to scared because the way they act. Its hard to explain, but women out their with jealous husbands knows what I'm talking about.

  15. We are all equals.

Should a wife go to jail for refusing s*x with her husband?

  16. No. Not having s*x should not be punishable by law. Extreme jealousy should *only if* it results in violence or imprisonment (as in one person locks the other up in a basement). Emotions and refusing to have s*x are not legitimate crimes... and neither is skateborading ;)

  17. No, that's not the best solution. Why doesn't the government focus more on encouraging respect for women, protection laws for victims, and promoting self-respect, confidence, and self-defense in their women population?

  18. Just when I thought I'd seen EVERYTHING. Boy, when wives don't put out it's....."TOUGH SH*T HONEY" But when we don't, we can go to jail?

  19. HAHAHAHA

"no that is ridiculous" how is it any more ridiculous than the divorce laws or vawa ?

  20. No,that's ridiculous.

  21. I am a feminist and think that throwing a man in jail for jealousy, not having s*x, or ignoring the partner is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard.

It is INSULTING to woman, to think they are such fragile creatures that they need to make a man a jail bird to get what they want.

And it is DISCRIMINATING to men.

Yes, I read that 75% of murders are from husbands in Mexico.  They say this will somehow prevent abuse.

Hmmmn.  So raping a man because he is scared to go to jail if he doesn't consent unwillingly, is not ABUSE?

That is so twisted.  This will not stop abuse.

I see it only as provoking and infuriating men.  The ones who are already abusive, this will just be more fuel.

    What a lose/lose situation.

    DUMB, DUMB, DUMB!
