  1. Personally, I think everyone who wants to learn to dance should be given the opportunity. Perhaps they should hold a few open sessions and the kids can see whether they think they can keep up before comitting themselves to the team. Leave it up to them whether they think the team is right for them. But I really don't think they should be judged and excluded. Unless it's to go to a national competition or something, I don't think you should be too hard on them.

  2. Yes, they should. Even if you have to accept all the people that audition anyway you want to look professional.

  3. Yes! Of course. Any sort of team should have tryouts.

And it should be based on both skill and effort. If someone tries very hard but is an awful dance and can't do any of the movements required to a decent standard, then they should'nt be on the team. Equally, if someone is a very good dancer but makes no effort, then they should not be on the team, either.

Everyone should have an opportunity to dance, but not on a team that they aren't good enough for or don't make an effort. If they really want to dance, they will find classes to improve or  make more of an effort next time.

  4. Yes, because they still want the team to look good although the children are young.

  5. yes

but i disagree with the third answer

in my opinion it is more based on skill rather than effort.

if it was between a very-skillful dancer and someone who NEVER danced in her life (but trying very hard)....

who would you want representing your middle school dance team??

  6. YES!

you don't know what you could end up with if you don't have tryouts

  7. Ya i think so bcuz that's where all the dancer weree discovered at and anyway that's when you are actually good

  8. sure, but it shouldn't be based on skill, rather effort.
