This poor little baby fell flat on its face, onto a concrete floor inside Walmart.

  1. I guess not. Its actually one incident and an accident. but of course she is reliable and responsible with the baby's safety and the injury of the fall might cause to the child.

  2. Only if you're Britney Spears.

  3. NO!  Accidents happen, even to those of us who consider ourselves good parents.

  4. No; lots of people don't know any better than to not leave the car seat in the car where it belongs, or to not treat their kid like groceries; hard to condemn somebody for merely following the herd.

  5. It depends why it fell out and who's fault it was. Was it an unavoidable accident or could it have been prevented ? Did she not strap it in properly ? Did she leave it unsupervised ? Or did the baby wriggle its way out ? There are a lot of things to take into consideration. With babies, a lot of accidents are unavoidable. At such a young age, they have no sense of danger. I agree that they should have a lot of supervision, but they can not be watched 24/7. Babies and young children have tendencies to do some rather unpredictable things.

  6. Accidents do happen.  If there was some kind of neglect or abuse then sure she could get in trouble.

  7. it seems weird that a child so small would fall out of car seat.  My daughter couldn't have fallen out of her car seat at that age.  Either way, I don't think that the mother should be in trouble.  I'm sure she feels awful enough.  Accidents happen and children are surprisingly resilient.  Was the baby ok?  I hope so.

  8. I'd need to know more about the circumstances to base a decision. Accidents do happen, but was there anything to indicate she was neglectful? Was the baby strapped in? Did the whole car seat fall? What?

  9. I've seen the same thing happen at a walmart ... she probably didn't have the common sense to buckle the child in, but no shes not going to get in trouble, I don't know maybe they should get a talking to about how to properly strap a child in a car seat thing.. stuff happens as wrong as it might be though. 3-4 months though thats the parents fault if it were a toddler I wouldn't have anything to say because sometimes you can't stop them.. Ugh some parents, the baby should have at least been taken to a Doctor or something similar, no one will do anything.

One of those " Here's Your Sign" moments sadly involving a sweet little baby.
