It seems like every great civilization in history had slaves. Everyone in the bible and in biblical times had slaves, the Greeks and Romans had slavery, every great historical civilization benefited from some form of slavery. Why all of a sudden,or the past 300 years has slavery become such a terrible institution that even the slightest mention of its possible benefits causes a terrible uproar and everyone accuses you of being some evil villian?

  1. Why re-introduce something the Republican Party has already delivered to us?

  2. I assume from your question that you would expect to be either a slave-holder, or exempt from becoming a slave. How would you feel if whatever non-racial method used included you on the wrong side of the line?

Your answer would probably be the best answer to your original question.

  3. The Greek Empire fell.  As did the Roman Empire.

It's called improvement, dude.  Societies based on freedom for some and enslavement of many all collapsed.

It's kinda like saying, well, why don't you kill all the people you don't like and steal all their money?  Put them in camps and make them work, if they're able-bodied.  Do cruel tests on them and rape them and torture them.

Don't forget that a lot of the reason why the n***s were successful was because Germany was in a terrible recession after WWI and they presented their "cleansing" as a way to get rid of their "enemies" and restore their greatness.

Cruelty for economic gain is still cruelty.  It was wrong when the n***s did it, the Romans, people in the Bible, whomever.  It's wrong when people do it now.

Slavery is evil.  Any society based on slavery deserves to fall, and it certainly will.

  4. Um...I think it's called learning from past experience. BTW....what is so "great" about a civilization that fails at the hand of it's own inability to understand that any civilization that becomes so oblivious to it's own power will inevitably fall.....(ie, the greeks and the romans to name a few.)  PS, the word "benefited" in your question is very indicative to the fact that you are ....you now what, never mind...I can't even believe I'm wasting my time answering this. Good job being human...

  5. No. Slavery is contrary to the very fundamental belief that "all men are created equal" and to the guarantee of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

Any form of slavery would be contradictory and hypocritical.

  6. Better yet, if the North American Union can follow the example of the European Union, by standardizing both the money (Amero) and the labor force, it could give us the boost in the economy that we need right now...

Opening our borders, both north and south, would override many unnecessary problems, that are currently getting us nowhere, and there would be more labor opportunities for anyone willing to work, as well as greater hope for advancement than exists now, for anyone from Mexico to Northern Canada...

  7. if you want to be a slave, my floor could definitely do with someone l*****g it clean.

  8. would you volunteer to be a slave? would you volunteer your grandmother to be a slave?

lol... thats why its a no-no, its cruel and unfair...

  9. I am generally against slavery..but I might make an exception for KKK members and Scientologists....

  10. We learn from the past. Yes, almost all major civilizations had slavery, including the U.S., but thinking has changed. And, hopefully ethics and morality. Servants are an institution all their own.

Better to let the past of slavery die, than re-institute it.

    Good Morning!
