  1. I do it all the time. They make sure no one robs my house, and work cheap if I need a little help. They are going to drink anyway. If I help a grown man satisfy his needs, and he returns the favor, we both win. If I didn't help, he could be breaking in while I am gone.,

  2. i dont think it is wrong to give a homeless person money even if you know they are going to buy alcoholic beverages with it because your doing the right thing and god sees that your doing good works for him

  3. I usually buy them lunch, or tea or coffee. Once I made some bolognese for a homeless guy. I think they appreciate that a bit more anyway, it's a personal thing.

  4. they might. but you dont know they will. its a matter of believing in the human race and having hope they will better themself than destroy. Giving food insures they wont spend it, but at the same time, giving is giving, and its not really your business how they spend their life or any money. its theirs. you can try and help but no matter how much you want to help someone they will make the decision they think is right.

  5. Give them money but make them promise they wont buy alcohol. Lol! No, personally I think they would buy food first, then they would buy alcohol, cuz what do they need more?

  6. never give money to a homeless person. give it to a homeless shelter or food bank instead.

  7. You can never trust it (from personal experience). So if they're outside a store asking for money or if they're on the side of the road and are asking you for money try to do something better like if their outside your grocery store go buy a few basics to sustain them instead of just giving them money in which they might go buy unconstructive things.

  8. Why not give food instead?

  9. no, they are not going to buy anything but, drugs or alcohol with it

  10. The only panhandler in our town that I help is an old woman who I know helps her husband and has no one else.

I helped a girl and her baby the other day, but they weren't "regulars".

My husband gave a guy  $10 and he said he was going to Subway to get a sandwich and on the way home my husband saw him sitting on the corner with a bottle. You just have to pick and choose, I guess. Good Luck!
