  1. Just as people say not to swim after you eat, I suppose the same goes for running.  If your wanting to lose weight or burn of calories, it will be most effective if you let the food digest first. Also, you could possibly get sick. So I personally think it would be better to wait at least 20 minutes.  But, to each his own.

  2. I think the body pretty well sorts this out itself - you'd quickly find your stomach rebelling and telling you to take it easy!  It's generally considered that eating after exercise is better for metabolism and effective muscle repair.

That said, assuming you felt OK, low intensity running should be fine.  I mean, a good walk is often great after a big meal so light running should be fine also.  I'd just imagine that higher intensity workouts would be quite uncomfortable!

  3. Eating a large meal right before you run will make you feel sluggish. while you're running it may cause cramps or if you run hard enough you'll puke.

  4. No. You will have nasty cramps and will run very slow.

  5. ABSOLUTLEY NOT i did that once and after a mile a puked everywhere you should  eat a couple of hours beforehand

  6. well, you're balloon gut just got a load What ur doing is shaking it up and probably burning it as the same time as it goes digesting..  see nothing wrong with it. But...for instance. wear a butt bag with an meal in a baggy and see what you feel about loose food in a hollow pouch.

  7. How could anyone think that running on a full stomach could possibly do you any good???

Aside from the fact that it's like running with a back pack which throws off your whole stride and posture, it's either taking blood away from your heart and muscles for use by the digestive muscles; or it's taking away from digestion to feed your heart and muscles.
