Should a test be given to be allowed to vote?

Maybe even some sanity check would be good. After reading some of the questions people ask in all seriousness I have come to the conclusion that at last 15% of people are stupid and/or crazy.

How about questions like –

Do you believe in big foot?

What about the Loch Ness monster?

Have you ever been abducted by aliens?

Have you ever been anal probed by aliens and not abducted?

Is your wife also your cousin?

Have you or anyone in your family had an exorcism?

Do you see dead people?

Do you think a dream catcher actually works?

Do you hear voices, see ghosts, or believe you can have a psychic link with animals?

Are you worried the world is coming to an end in 2012?

Have you ever asked people on YA if your pregnant?

If you answer yes to any of these you should not be able to vote.

  3. Oh my goodness! I was just talking about this the other day! I really really think that you should know what you are voting for before you vote. So many people aren't critical thinkers and vote without any foreknowlege. This is how things get messed up and George ended up in the White House twice! Loved the questions by the way!

  9. I think you're right except about the belief that you can have a psychic link with animals or even insects. To understand or have the ability to link with these creatures does not put me or anybody in a category that is not able or fit to vote. How about the ability to link psychically to the person you want to vote? Have you ever thought about it in the first place?
