above you children's welfare? Like commander in chief. Sure I would not be asking this if Sarah had older children or if she were a Democrat. But this seems very against the principles of the Republican party for a woman to put her job ahead of her children.

  1. i am pretty liberal but i would never leave my children unless i had to for financial purposes!

  2. Oh for pity sake.. that is the lamest excuse not to vote for her I've seen yet.

What about Obamas young kids.. should he be thinking  of taking a job that requires him to put a soldiers welfare above his children... what a dumb question.

This is 2008.. women do it all... as much as the men.. women.. both Democrat and Republican are dying in this war.. where have you been!

  3. She has 1 son who is deploying 9/11/08 and 4 at home. [1 of who is a down syndrome baby that she could have terminated but didn't] So what? I think she knows better than most what her children welfare means.

  4. If you bothered to do any research you would find that she has a son going to Iraq in a couple weeks. Seems like she's okay with it!

  5. You appear to be stuck in the 20th century, good sir.

  6. Gimmie a break, Osama Bin Biden has young children and no one would say anything about him making decisions.  Democrat would rather she aborted all her kids after they were born so she could hug some trees and breast feed polar bears.

  7. It's a gimmick pick.

  8. She will be great.

  9. In case you haven't heard, women have been raising family's and having careers for years. This is the 21st. century, so get with the program. I know it must be a hard pill to swallow, but women can do it better then any man. Democrat for McCain/Palin 2008.

  10. Yeah, she should stay at home so Obama won't have anything to fear from her.

  11. She has a son in the military.  It appears that like most women, she can do it all.   ***

  12. I wouldn't, apparently its important for her to do it.  Maybe she has other priorities.  Maybe her husband will take care of the children.  I'm a mother of two, and I wouldn't trade taking care of my children myself for anything in this world.  I had to make choices that affected my professional career, but I have no regret.  On that I'm very conservative, and I think women should take care of their children, its the way God create it, and I'm happy with it.

I work with children 0-3 with special needs, and I have a concern regarding Palin's newborn diagnosed with Down Syndrome, this special children need lots of love and attention.  I know some mothers that have had to quit their jobs, and stay home to care care and nurture their children with special needs.

I understand Senator Hillary Clinton running for President; she campaigns with her daughter Chelsea, and both seem to enjoy it!!  Besides you can't compare Hillary with Palin.

As a woman I feel that McCain is using Palin as a gender object.  No different from using naked images of women for advertising or other purposes.  The only difference is that usually the woman is used to attract men, and this time he is using Palin to attract women!!!  Very low movement for me.
