  1. People are free to do what they want.

I don't believe in a husband and wife willingly having s*x together, then having an abortion, but if it was out of stupidity or rape, I find it perfectly fine.

I don't think society is so helplessly overpopulated that we need to turn to abortion to resolve the dilemma.

  2. okay what do i think, women bodies are designed to have babies at an early age that why older female have difficulty getting pregnant so it's not that stupid people have babies at a young because that is how the woman's body is built to conceive a child by age 13 or 14 which in today's generation is frown on but back a hundred years ago you were lucky to live to be in your 30s so overpopulation might be a problem but forcing people to abort wanted children is cruel. Just like forcing women into adoption is cruel. Let a person decide on what they can live with and what they can handle. Abortion at least the mother knows the child will never be harmed into today's world and never know hunger, thirst, or harm. Just a thought.

  3. You have to keep the willy out of the woo-who unless you're willing to risk a Chance Card for the usual nine months and all the moral issues that follow. No; it is not right to kill a fetus or to eat junk food and smoke during the pregnancy to lessen the chances of the baby's survival. You'd be killing yourself if you did that last part. Although it's legal, doesn't mean that it's right. The law has to take the abortion side of this story because we cannot be restricted from the freedom.

Overpopulation will be dealt with from politics, as this itself is a whole different issue. The world can hold lots of more people. It's just that we're wasting too much per person. Of course the environment doesn't like our wasting but will deal with it in the long run.

Enjoy the freedoms that you have, but recall to have a moral sense.

  4. Women should have the freedom to chose. No one should have the right to speak for me. Did you know that the fanatical right is now trying to say that birth control is abortion?

  5. If you are going to perform abortions, you should be good at it and not have to practice.

  6. I personally think that if a person doesn't want a baby, they shouldn't make it to begin with.... I consider it a cruel way of denying life to the child.

  7. Well I'm against it but if when get rid of abortion, women will get desperate and find sick ways to kill the baby and not raise the child right.

  8. I've never heard of anyone advocating abortion as a form of population control.  Pregnancies can be the result of rape, might endanger the life of the mother, or the fetus might be dead or have severe deformities.  The mother might be too young to have a child, or be single and have no means of paying for prenatal care, let alone paying for the birth.  Teens may be afraid to even tell their parents.  Low birth weight and other problems can be the result of teenage pregnancy.  If the father doesn't step up and help, the mother is alone or has to depend on her mother.  The people who are against abortion, I have known, are also against taxation to help mothers with their prenatal care and babies, and some are also against birth control.  So if you compromise and say that the only abortions allowed will be in certain cases, by the time each case goes through court it is too late for an abortion.  Women had to fight for the right to vote and the right to use birth control.  Some were arrested for their efforts.  I believe that this is an extension of women's fight for their rights.  If we lose our legal rights, and start hearing the whispers again of back alley abortions by unqualified people, the fight will just begin over again.

  9. I do not believe we are so overpopulated that we have to resort to culling our own numbers.
