  1. yes...those seats are small and uncomfortable even for skinny people...if they want to sit safely during the flight they need to charge them for two seats

however by the looks of your avator....Id give you seats on a flight for free! ;-)

  2. They already do charge extra.  I don't think it's unfair. If you can't keep your body in one seat, then what can they do?  It's not their problem if you can't fit into their seats.  Maybe they should make some seats that are specially made for obese people so they don't have to worry about it.

  3. yes they should

they charge me if my baggage is 4 chuffin pounds over the limit

but not them when they are 8 stone heavier than me and my bag

    ugh

  4. No, we need to melt obese people down for their precious oils.

  5. YES!  The airline ticket prices are PER SEAT.  If you take up 2 seats then you pay for two.   Unless of course, the seat next to you is empty.   Same goes for parents flying with children. If you didn't pay for the seat next to you, is it appropriate to sit your child on the stranger's arm rest or lap next to you?

    Extra weight = more fuel.

Its amazing how the price of medical alone doesn't drive people towards a healthier lifestyle. Maybe charging more for airline tickets, bus tickets/etc is one way to get people to change their unhealthy lifestyle.

How's about doing a "seat check" at the gate.  Remember that carry on baggage check device at the airline gate door?  You can drop your carry on into the metal frame to see if your bag wll fit in the overhead bin.   Well, they need to put a seat out there and obese folks will have to see if they can fit.  (Amusement Parks do this for some roller coasters as a safety precaution)

Also, I like personal space.  There's something about someone I don't know "touching me" that really bothers me.  Its very uncomfortable sitting on a plane with someone's arm, leg or stomach constantly rubbing against you...for 3+ hours.   Way too close for comfort.

  6. I have to agree with it, for you have taken a seat away from another paying customer. You pay for two

  7. They should have to buy an extra ticket. Flying sucks enough these days without having to be crammed into one side of your own seat because the person next door is too big. Ridiculous.

  8. Yes, because they could have sold that seat to someone else.

  9. I'm thin, and I dont get a DISCOUNT, so why charge the larger people more?  Will they give them MORE FOOD?  Will they give them a BIGGER PILLOW?  Can a THIN person pay for an extra seat to prop their FEET UP IN?  It's all an excuse to GET MORE MONEY as fuel prices cut into their profit.

  10. l think it is quite reasonable to charge more for thes obese people because they would have added additional weight to the plane and in terms of fuel costs, the plane would be heavier and consume more rather when its lighter, also why would they squeze another full paying passenger and get crammed on the seat, rather if they cant fit on a single seat, let them just buy double

  11. yes.

  12. no. I'm not fat either. I'm a little flabby on the belly side but not large that I take more than my own seat.

  13. Uh Yeah!

They Take Up Lots Of Room And Smell Like Bacon.
