  1. I agree with the first poster, you should get the man's name right and learn to spell "treasonous."  Second of all, I am a New Yorker and I've lived in a place where the police are given virtually unlimited carte blanche to abuse their positions.  I am proud that people in my city don't just lie down and accept abuse of power by those in authority.

If we looked at it like you do, we'd all be having tea and crumpets in the afternoons and paying taxes to England.

    UPDATE:

Now is not the time to riot in this country?  I don't understand that statement.  First of all, Mr. Sharpton said nothing about rioting.  Second of all, what exactly makes this time any different from any other?  Third, let's call it what it is, you think that our job as good Americans is to accept whatever is dealt to us by the powers that be.

As to the rest, I don't use a spell check either and my writing doesn't look like yours.  You know his name and you know how to spell or you don't.  Spell-checking is a back up tool; it's not supposed to replace actual grammar, spelling and punctuation knowledge.

  2. My first thought is you should at least get his name right before accusing him of a crime.  His name is Al Sharpton.

  3. Al Sharpton should have been arrested for incitement a long time ago.  He made a whole issue over the Tawana Brawly hoax and damage the reputaion of good hard working law enforcement officials.  He instigated the Crown Heights riots which led to the deaths of at least two men, all over a traffic accident.  He went to Harlem and protested because a Jew had a clothing store on 125th Street.  The chaos that followed led to some racist Blackman burning down the store and killing one of the workers.  Sharpton quietly removed himself from the scene.  Wherever he goes, he tends to bring out the basest emotions in people, he incites people to violence and somehow he walks away unscathed by his actions and he is supposed to be a minister.  He incites racism and violence.  I suggest that Sharpton is being paid off by some of the gangs in the area.  He is focused on tying the hands of the police and local gangs are marching with him.  He is a very dangerous man and I wonder how long it will take for people to see through him.
