  1. HEY!! Snow is a confirmation of Global Warming!  So is rain! So is sunshine!  So is wind!  So is lack of wind!  Warm days PROVE global warming.  So do cold days!  In fact every little piece of weather is confirming global warming!  AAAUUUUGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!  THE SKY IS FALLING, THE SKY IS FALLING!  THE ONLY SOLUTION IS TO IMMEDIATLY RUN AROUND IN A BLIND PANIC!

  2. If anything this article proves his point.  Don't take the term "Global warming" so literally.  In the 80s it was called "global climate change," and that's a better descriptor.  We are seeing radical shifts in the patterns and severity of weather.  (You can probably come up with yoru own list of recent disasters that exceed anything in we've seen before in history).  This is the first snow in baghdad in memory.  That has enormous implications.

  3. He probably should keep it so he can pay the expense for the jet fuel he uses.

  4. No, but he should have to use it to buy parkas for all the Iraqi people.

If polar bears start showing up in the desert, THEN he should have to give it back.

  5. The term global warming is only used by those basis their assumptions on theory from a time when there was little scientific evidence to back up the theories of climate change. Some of us have used the term climate change for a long time. Even those without scientific knowledge or ability can see whats happening to the worlds climate. You only need a little common sense to see that changes that occur naturally are being exacerbated beyond belief by human actions.

So in answer to you, NO.

  6. Nope. If anything, they should give him more money! This just proves his point. Global climate shift is very real.

  7. No. Gore said he would donate his share of the $1.5 million that accompanies the prize to the non-profit Alliance for Climate Protection.

Besides a day of snow in Iraq doesn't mean Global warming doesn't exist. Only the feeble minded would believe such an assertion.

Do us all a favor, get educated prior to making such silly statements.

I could use the same argument and state that it is bright sunny and warm today at my house, it is, and use this as evidence of GW.

It isn't a snapshot pal, it is backed by empirical data.

  8. Yes

Just think at one point just a few years (100,000) ago there was 2 - 5 miles of ice on Michigan, carving out the great lakes.  So when did this global warming start ?
