  1. I would do it, but I'd rather not go to jail (I may be in the minority here).

  2. If only it were that simple.

"No taxes = no more spending = being forced to pull out of Iraq to pay for other more important things at home."

Reread that carefully - "no taxes = no more spending" = no more road and highway maintenance = no more social services = no more federal law enforcement = no more federal regulatory agencies .......essentially, no one left to raise income tariffs.

  3. no but we should boycott those corporations that don't pay much if any at all,

  4. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Not paying taxes would only get you in trouble.  You can protest in many other ways.  As I pay way too much in taxes personally, it sounds tempting, but is not a practical idea.

  5. Why don't you try it and tell us how it went.

  6. how the gov get their cut first.

  7. great idea however i don't think people would unite and all follow up with it. people are conditioned to do what the authority expects from them knowing that there be a disciplinary actions against them IE; damage their credit, monitory and other penalties IE; middle class and the working poor. the very rich people sure would not allow through since some may not even pay much taxes after deductions.  poor families may not see it financially rewarding. poor individuals may be the ones who follow up with this idea however some may not be filling taxes and/ or work under the table. assuming that majority may followup with your idea means that they should all file exempt and stop paying right away otherwise some families may even loose some money since they won't receive it at the end of the year. at least you are trying to come up with a solution. keep it up. the person above me has a good idea too. may be a collective lawsuit against the government since it should be illegal to force taxes on the citizens? good luck and peace.

  8. It is actually NOT law that we pay the taxes they steal from us.

But just a few of us against the money hungry in Washington does not seem worth the jail time.

I do like the way you think.

Key word here is that you aka dumdum do in fact think woo hoo for you!

  9. Libs complaining about paying taxes? I actually understand how you feel though! I feel the same when federal funds are used to murder innocent babies.

  10. Yes.

  11. I'm all for a 21st century Boston Tea Party but as Wesley Snipes found out it's no good in small numbers.

I'd be willing to go to jail doing it if I thought the numbers were significant enough to make the government stand up and take notice.

  12. No taxes = no social benefits = COMPLETE collapse of your country's economy as your dollar becomes worthless overnight.

Sort of like curing a cold by shooting the person.

    Bad idea.

  13. If people look at it then we should all see the government screwjob.  Back in the 1700's when we were a new country we fought with England for our freedom and no new taxes.  Guess where we are in the 21st century?  Yep thats right.  We are a mini england where the president is like the monarch, except we change monarchs every 4 or 8 years.

  14. The problem is how do you get the American people to get on board together. The government has us all bashing each other about who is better the GOP or the Dems. We are so divided now. It's sad.
