  1. That sounds like the kind of thing a sore loser would say.

If you won there is no way you would of posted this question.

    So no.

  2. NO! How could we beat England 36-0.

  3. From a round-ball fan, this sounds very much like sour grapes to me...if you don't agree or like what the IRB is doing....change it. Association Fretball wouldn't be the force it is if every group that felt it was being 'short-changed', took the huff and split. The answer is to stick together, if their are enough who think like you do, surely you can force the changes without resorting to archaic tactics?

  4. No. NZ and AUS should both create their own organisation with their own world cup with their teams as sole team in their own cups each of them will be sure to win a cup every year. This is a sore question from a sore loser. The try following a French forward pass still upsets a lot of people. What about Dan Carter's forward pass to McAlister when he scored his try?

  5. Yes for sure. There is definitely a conspiracy against the southern teams. Europe can't beat the southern teams fear and square so that is why they implement political tactics.Unfortunately Europe has all the money and that is why they abuse their power.(Don't forget about Japan joining)

  6. Kerry Packer style rugby?  it would shake them up a bit

  7. Yep definately.

Come back when you have learned some respect.

  8. For everyone calling him a sore loser or whatever.... I don't think that is valid.

It is no secret that the IRB is an absolute shambles. Players, management and fans from both hemispheres know this. I will not get into it but you cannot honestly tell me you don't think the IRB is a complete joke! You must be pretty ignorant to think that (if anybody does), open your eyes!

Europe has effectively killed football (soccer) and rugby is heading down the same path. Why are the IRB and FIFA both located and dominated by Europe. Ireland (IRB) and Switzerland (FIFA) are the headquarters???

I'm not sure starting our own southern hemisphere organisation is the right solution but something major definately has to be done! We have SANZAR which almost competes with the IRB in a way but the IRB has all of the power.

I think the IRB needs to be completely abolished and a new world union needs to be created. What does the IRB stand for anyway - Irish Rugby Board?? I know it doesn't but it is effectively run by the Irish.

A new body should be setup consisting of a repesentative from each of the top 20 or so nations.

Where would we establish this new body?? What would we call it?

  9. Talk about throwing your toys out of the pram. I assume you are from the Southern Hemisphere yourself?

What would leaving the IRB achieve? It would - very obviously - be an absurd backward step, dividing the game of rugby rather than developing it.

An IRB shake up is certainly needed; one vote per member, rather than the unequal distribution of voting that occurs at the moment, would be a fine starting point. Lobbying SANZAR to include Argentina in the Tri-Nations, and providing more regular competition and funding for the pacific islanders (as individual nations, not as a single team) would be others.

To be honest, your post is nothing more than flamebait from a sore loser, and deserves to be derided as such.

  10. The idea is intruiging. There should be another organisation

The IRB is totally out of touch with the rest of the world. For years theres been complaints about the IRB from everybody to Will Carling to Sean Fitzy. Its not doing the growth of rugby any good to have one controlling body which hardly puts any money into developing smaller nations whatsoever.

Even the world cup is beginning to look sterile and homogenous and I am really sick of that fact that rugby has adopted soccer format with red/yellow cards.Who was the idiot that thought up that? Yes by all means, there should be a 2nd body. The IRB is way past its sell by date

  11. Definately Yes!

Why - because the IRB is predominantly  run by Northern hemisphere members. What is the most played ball sport in the Northern hemisphere? Not rugby but football. Lets get a real rugby knowledgeable organisation less chained to rigid traditions that will develop a more exiting game. This will encourage more players to the game.

This is not sour grapes or throwing the toys out of the pram. Rugby and rugby league are the must played ball games in the southern hemisphere. This is the region where innovation in the game is most likely to occur.

  12. sorri to say it, but no

IRB definitly has issues that desperatley need to be sorted out. However regardless of how rubbish the six nations teams have been lately, and whatever conspiracies there may be (many being believable) besides new zealand, australia, south africa and argentina they really are the best teams.

argentina does deserve to be in a top class competition, and the pacific island teams have proved they deserve better, regular competition

  13. What would you call it - The Losers League?
