  1. Yes, I think that we should ratify the Kyoto Protocol.  Since we are the biggest polluters, it is our responsibility to take care of our planet.  If we expect countries like China and India to take responsibility for their emissions, the first step is to show them how it is done, by doing it ourselves.

  2. It is a sign of good faith to the rest of the world by signing it, but it also turns it's back on big business which is why most members of congress won't allow it.

On the contrary no real harm is done by not signing it other than making other nations upset

We can still fight carbon emissions without signing it

  3. No, it is a meaningless feel good document that serves no useful purpose.  The original framers have acknowledged that even if all of the signatories met all of the requirements it would have essentially no effect on global warming.

Besides, if we did, who would all of those other countries blame for global warming, certainly not themselves.

  4. I hope that the USA does not make the same mistake as Australia has in signing on to the Global Warming Game.

I am not going to argue from the emission reduction perspective, because I don’t think CO2 is a real pollutant. Nor am I going to argue from the costs point of view. Once you agree to sign on to this scam, you’re in the game of deceit and not in the game for science.

Real science does not exist in any sense of the contextual realities of climate change. I see no facts supporting any thinking nations to sign on to, and for those who are in the game are only being hoodwinked by professionals at selling bad science.
