  1. Sure go ahead, I'm 12 and I have Josefina.

Ruthie is so cute! I hope she likes her!

  2. My daughter is 11 going on 12. She has had her dolls for  a few years. She still loves them and still does a lot of creative play with them.

They way she plays with them changes with her development. Just like the things you will enjoy change. But for a girl a doll is something different then a TV. A doll is a friend and companion. It is someone she will practice hair styles on, dressing, cleaning up, and all sorts of things. I found that I can tell the kind of person my daughter is by how she treats her doll and how her "doll" interacts with others through creative play.

Doll collecting is one of the top collections out there. Kids, Teens, and adults all collect and have dolls. There is nothing wrong with a boy wanting to collect toy cars and alike there is nothing wrong with a girl wanting a doll even at 11 going on 12. You will find that while she has the doll is will be fun for her. Later she may become more of a display piece sitting on her bed or on a shelf but your daughter wills till make a connection with that doll and cherish the time she had with her.

  3. well, those dolls are pretty expensive and i don't think she'll play with it much more in a few months. it might be good if she keeps it in good condition to sell later in life, but i just don't think she'll play with it a lot.

  4. Sure, I don't think it matters what age you are. You could be 30 years old and want to buy an American Girl Doll.

  5. Why not ? If she likes that kind of thing, yes...

  6. YEA i luv um!!!!!!!!
