Should an IQ test be required to vote?

After seeing some of the idiotic answers here, it frightens me that some of these people may actually be registered voters.

I think the test should be a politics test. I not voting for Obama but hes the only democrat I like so who knows I might switch side and vote for him.

No, real democracy means uninformed and stupid people vote. If you start vetting in that way...you cease to have a democracy now, don't you?

Then again, we'd become a one party system. The Republican movers and shakers mental gauge varies widely from insipid to vapid, but their constituents sit at cretin and don't budge.

They'd elect a houseplant if it had a Bible and a shotgun strapped to its pot.

I think so too.You get the kind of government you deserve. But then it wouldn't be a democracy at all in any terms. America wouldn't be looked at the same way by any country by any means whatsoever. Everyone should have the chance to vote. What if your IQ wasn't high enough to vote, but you were making a good decision based on the campaign? You wouldn't like it if they told you no or you were forced to take a test every time. Obama all the way!!!!!!! It may take us less years to repair after the Obama terms.
