  1. What is next, can't drink at home?

  2. No! They should uphold the law! Not break it!

  3. A police officer is required to behave appropriately outside working hours. So: no socializing with criminals, no DUI or being drunk,no petty crime in their free time. O.K.

But to ask them not to smoke joints seems hypocritical, when it is so generally accepted and not regarded as more problematic than alcohol use.

True: soft drugs are still officially illegal, only "tolerated". But why not be tolerant to police officers?

Our country is the living proof that a"tolerant"policy towards soft drugs does not lead to collapse of a nation or to the downfall of many people.

Prohibition and the "war on drugs" do.

Prohibition for police officers only  protects nobody and will lead nowhere.

Some people doing drugs destroy their lives. So we need prevention and detox clinics, like for alcohol.

But a policy of putting people in prison for using or selling soft drugs destroys more lives and burns a lot of tax payers' money.

  4. yeah he should be able to. Its legal there so when hes off duty he should be able to enjoy a nice fat one...

everyone should be allowed to smoke joints...

  5. Well, they do here in the UK. Oh yes they do.

  6. Don't see why not.  As long as the Politie aren't incapable of carrying out their duties what they do when off-duty is their own business, surely?

  7. Yes he should be allowed, the same as he should be allowed to visit a hooker if he chooses.

  8. if legalized freedom than ok
