  1. point down so that the ink comes out easily.

  2. point down.

  3. i dont think it makes a difference? i mean the ink is glued together or something.

  4. They should be pointed down when stored to prevent the gel ink adhering on the inner semicircle of the ball from drying up which may render the pen in-operational.

Inky messes result from poor ball point pen quality. So select ones which are proven to be of good quality. As a rule, don't buy the very cheap ones.

  5. Point concealed and pointing downwards

  6. Point down

  7. point down if ****** and stored in your pocket,up ,down and horizontal anywhere else

  8. It is best to keep them facing downwards but if they have an industry error and are at the wrong  temperature and they  are in a fabric they may mess it up.

    Horizontal,is all O.K

  9. Never point up but otherwise anything goes.

  10. Point down as to let the ink remain in contact with the ball of the pen. It should be capped as well so the ball point will not be damaged and the ink will not be dried out on the point.

Horizontal is good as well, but that would be up to the individual.
