  1. you ever heard of a form slump, Ricky ponting has, if really are a swans supporter, then support you players.

he will be ok, just give the bloke a go, hall has been good for your side, you owe him that much, don't let it show how fickle swans supporters really are, he will come good.

  2. he will go soon.....either get traded or de-listed.

but if the swans were to let him go now well then the swans will choke as no one in the foward line will have a leader to look up to.

  3. chelsea, he has for several years been a target of more mobile players. perhaps he is just not given as many opportunities as he has been. someone that hefty isn't able to rove packs or tear along the wing, as more versatile players do.

if Sydney want to play for real - as Paul Roos said - maybe what they need to do is play Hall only when he can be put against someone equally solid and stationary, or to play him for ten minutes in each quarter so he doesn't lose energy.

it would be a pity if he retired, he is one of the most entertaining Swans when he is fully operational.

  4. Barry Hall unfortunately had the worst year of his career last year, due to niggling injuries that slowly wore him down throughout the year.

But retirement, no way, hes built very big and although he is into his 30's, his upper body strength and athleticism make him still a supreme forward. Im a Crows fan, so im not biased but 'Big Bad Bustling Barry Hall' still has some left in the tank, not a lot, but still some left.

  5. no barry hall shouldnt because he is still in great form and he still can go on for another 3-5 years

  6. yes everyone use to like him but know they dont he sucks

  7. Definitely not ready for stud yet. He had a c**p year in 2007, everyone knows that but he has a lot to offer Sydney over the next few years. It will be interesting to see how the coaches at Sydney use him though.

I don't like him as the focal point up front, it is better when O'Keefe and others get to roam around in front of goal instead of being pushed into the pockets.

The big question for Sydney this year revolves around Hall and how they use him. If they get that right then we can be top 4 but otherwise we will hopefully scrape into 8 and annoy some fans in the finals.

  8. yeah i thought he should of after last year, he cant hang onto a mark these days

  9. lol yeah I dont like him. Im an Eagles supporter..and I like the Swans cos when we play its always a hellll good game n iuno why  cos most WC fans dot like the swans lol. but i really hate the way hall plays.

Like i dont like it how forwards always play for free kicks and it is sooo obvious!!  And when they are so busy trying to get a free the ball is rolling off and they could go and get it and score instead of trying to get a free.

but yeah i dont like him.

  10. YES HE IS A SLOW OLD THUG!
