Belching properly requires athletic stamina and skill, and it is popular in all countries. So should it be included on the Olympic roster?

  1. US :)...I'm thinking of the whole A LOT of fast food consumption and therefore A LOT of belching practice.

  2. Italy would probably take those medals home. They have plenty of rich and zesty food to practice on at home.

  3. I could have a shot at a medal in that one.  I'm American, so I'll go with that.

  4. Yes, I'm going to get a beer and start "training"

  5. Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oi Oi Oi!

Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oi Oi Oi!

    Aussie! Oi!

    Aussie! Oi!

Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oi Oi Oi!

    Enough said!

  6. Forget about a competition ... just send that gold medal to my address.

My son is the obvious champion!

  7. I'd be a contender for a gold for sure !!  In high school I used my stopwatch and timed a 14.92 second belch.  Yes it was quiet, I paced myself, but I kept it going that long. I've been in a tie for decibels once, but none of my belching buddies could ever match my endurance ! Plus, I don't even need a Coke. I can conjure up some mighty good ones without any carbonation.

BTW, I have a Cajun friend from the swamp who is the KING of Farts !!  Volume, length and reaction time. You can ask him to rip one and within a minute he's got a great one !  Maybe we should go on David Letterman's stupid human tricks.

  8. I think Australia would be in with a great chance. I think we should start the petition.

  9. america would definitely win

    look at our soda intake

  10. I wondered about it, but then I thought about how hard it would be to make the rules for judging and stuff. You would have to make a points system and have lists of penalties. There would have to be rules about what the competitors can and cant eat during the competition. The things that could be judged are loudness and length of belch. Ooh, wouldn't it be cool to hold the Olympic Record for longest belch!
