Sometimes it's hard for you to get back to your natural colour especially if you are blonde. Don't use box dye though because it might give your hair a green hue! Go to a salon.

are you asking if they should dye it brown without guilt (even while knowing that so many other people dye their hair the very color they dye over)?

who cares. if they want brown hair, they should not feel guilty because others don't have it -- they should just concentrate on what THEY want.

Depending on how light of a blonde it is determines the shade of brown.

Very light blonde should go with a light brown, like an ash.

Darker blondes can go up to caramel and look nice.

Blondes usually are fair toned, and dark hair makes them look even more pale.
