Should can food distributors have a note on their labels "please remove label before disposing of can"?

i don't really think that all recycling places have the equipment for label removal

Nope, recycling plants have already invested in the equipment necessary to remove anything non-metal from these things, why bother wasting more money and getting less in the long run? besides the paper has glue on it, so its not recyclable
