  1. Absolutely not, since it is the democratic priveledge of the american people--through their political candidates--to critisize the government itself.

"It is not the function of our government to keep the citizen from falling into error; it is the function of the citizen to keep the government from falling into error." -- U.S. Supreme Court in American Communications Association v. Douds

  2. Absolutely not.

The last thing you want is a government run by cronies.

  3. Seeing the way things are, I would say No. The ones there who claim to know obviously are not doing a very good job.

  4. If the founders wanted that, they would have included it in the constitution. Let's just keep the constitution they gave us. One does not need experience to be a great leader or a bonehead.

  5. No, That would prevent the average citizen from running for office, if they were not a carreer politician.

  6. Absolutely not, we are voting for them anyway, these things can be sorted out in the vote.

I think you can throw just about any prerequisite for any elected position out on this basis.

Additionally, how can one already deep in the system really represent those outside the system?...who cares?...it's up to the people.
