  1. Why do you ask a question and then answer it in the same sentence ??

  2. I hate hearing about celebrities. Their lives have absolutely meaning to me.

  3. I'm so tired of hearing about Britt and her crazy ways or who is knocked up now. Its like if they aren't the center of attention they do some insane thing to get the spot light back on them!Rio has it right!! LOL

  4. I think they are ordinary people just like everyone else.  If they do something to earn to be celebrated, then we'll honor them. To me, they are like everyone else, except their chose acting as a career and like to live the high life. Guess without them, we wouldn't have anything to talk about....there is always something going on in Celebrity World!

  5. Celebrity does not mean anything anymore. Anyone can be a 'celebrity'. If you sleep with a famous person, you become a celebrity, e.g. Abi Titmuss. If your are the partner or child of a famous person, you become a celebrity - think of all the footballers wives. If you are a contestant in any TV show, no matter how untalented you are, you become a celebrity - Big Brother being the perfect example.

Celebrity used to be characterised by someone who has achieved something through talent or skill in the public eye. Now, no talent is required other than a thirst for fame and self-publicity.

  6. Is there an echo in here?

  7. I don't think a celebrity should have as much attention as they do, but if they do something worth looking up to, then by all means go ahead and celebrate that. Although many only do good things for others to talk about ans sometimes envy. It gets them enough publicity to get though their movie or record.

As for the person who mentioned Brangelina, I think people need to understand that they're people just like the rest of us and the fact that they are adopting is a great thing. So they have their own kids by them, that's great, too. At least they're not using their money to badmouth people or force people to make them the only talked-about couple on the planet. Because they could do it if they really wanted to you know.

  8. Definite butt pain.

    xx

  9. Most of them havn`t got anything worth celebrating, they are just silly, vain posers and not good examples for youngsters.Notorious would probably be a better description for the majority of them.

How about a second term "Notoriosos", this would separate the deserving from the none-deserving?

  10. Their escapades wear very thin after a while and as role models they are hopeless so why celebrate their party antics?

  11. don't know any of them so I don't care if they live or die.  They just give me the wild eye on TV and I turn away.

  12. Depends who it is.  Personally not seeing Peter Andre and Jordan again wouldnt be a bad thing.

A lot are a pain in the butt, but thats because they are so far up their own ar$e$

  13. Only if they do something worth celebrating. Brad and Angelina's annual baby is not one of those somethings.

  14. We should stop putting them on pedestals and realize that they are just human like the rest of us. The only difference between them and us is that we pay to see their movies and listen to their music and they have a lot more money than the rest of us.

  15. Success should always be celebrated........So when can we start celebrating you?

  16. They do more harm than good. But to be honest, it's not them over-inflating their importance. It's the media and the current public past time of celebrity worship.

  17. To me they are just normal people, i never pay much mind to them..

    LMAO Rio..

  18. They are supposed to be America's role models, but all they teach the youth in this country are how to become alcoholics and drug users, how to not maintain a marriage, and how to mismanage your money.

Celebrities are nothing but overpaid kids that never really grew up.

  19. Certainly, if they do something worthwhile.

Most of the time, they don't.
