  1. I believe the answer is probably yes,as long as the receiving country can demonstrate they will be properly housed and cared for.

       Many of the 'cultural treasures' were NOT regarded as 'treasures' by their native country at the time they were removed from their place of origin, and were often in imminent danger of total destruction by farming,building,general neglect etc.


  2. what i personally believe is that.....yes.......cultural treasures should be returned to the country of their origin....as sometimes that particular object may be a symbolic recognition for people of same faith, community or country as well.

    so it is regarded as serious loss to the nation and may lead to violent uprising undermining the world peace.

    as for example......the PEACOCK STONE of india was a sacred symbol among the indians which was taken by the british.....and even now frequent road revolts are caused due to this........
