  1. yer

  2. No he should just stand on the pitch and kick balls which are stationary

  3. No they want players who hit the ball straight not ones who hit it the opposite direction. Hopefully if he does play he'll kick the ball into the crowd and manage to hit his wife.

  4. @ Blue B: Who are you calling idiots??? Not all British people are English, but by your response I'm guessing you didn't know that and clearly you know NOTHING about football nor Beckham. So I suggest you keep quite about the matter.

In response to the question, no Beckham can only do more harm than good for England. England right now is in need of a good captain to put things together. They need to learn how to work together and put their egos aside. While yes Beckham has helped them qualify before, he's now much older and was no help to even qualify for Euro. England might have to cinsider searching for new, unknown talent to fill-in the ranks to keep the team afloat.

  5. Yes,I think he should because David Beckham is a good player and a huge power for England and when he did not play in the euro qualifying rounds they were eliminated before the final.

  6. YES!!!

David Beckham is the best player in the World!

    He should defintly play!

  7. he should be playing a team that will play the world cup, will David still be good enough in two year? i think not.

  8. Idiot Brits.

Turn their backs on a quality player who can benefit the team.

Sure he dates that stick from the spice girls

Sure his wages are ridiculously inflated

Sure he isn't a complete midfielder

But he can win you people games.

But hey, what the h**l does England care about winning?

That effort is much better spent on selecting "the right" captain.

  9. yes - but I'm a Scot so I would say that :)

  10. No.

  11. yes of course he should, thats the only way england score goals these days.....SET PIECES.

  12. Yeah, he should.  He still has the heart for it, and he still has the skills for it.....I would keep him.

  13. That should be decided by his form, fitness...and how he trains with the squad...

    dR bad

    I don't see why he shouldn't if he's on form & fit

  14. Yes, England should at least keep him as a back up. He is still one of the best concer kicker in the world. It will simpily add another way to score for England.

  15. Totally but I beginning to think that we are gonna see deja vu taking place NO EURO AND THERE WILL CERTAINLY BE NO WORLD CUP.ARE U ANGRY WITH ME JUST PULLING YOUR LEG .DAVID SHOULD NOT ONLY PLAY HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN APPOINTED CAPTAIN OF THE SQUAD

  16. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

  17. i dont think so

in the end, its goals that matter

    but he cant produce them

so he is just a waste of space, who could be replaced easilly by someone who can produce goals

  18. No. there are many other better right wingers like joe cole, lennon and bentley. putting beckham there will show that Capello is just giving him face

  19. i just think there shouldn't be an English football team full stop, it will help the general public after save them from the disappointment year and year, majority of the users on here probably wasn't alive when we won the world cup
