  1. NO!  Prolonged storage in a refrigerator will make the cork shrink, oxidizing the wine.

Store it in a cool, dark place, laying on its side.

    Hope this helps.

  2. You should store it in cellar temperatures, Around 58 degrees....

  3. Short term (a few weeks), the fridge is okay, but less than ideal.  Unless you live in Death Valley, you should be able to find a cool, dark place to store.  If you don't have a basement, a bedroom closet is a decent option, assuming you run an AC in the bedroom when very hot out.  But anything less than a proper environment should only be temporary.  If you plan on holding for a year plus and don't have a basement or other area that stays cool and dark year round, you should either buy a six bottle wine storage unit or find a wine club that rents locker space.

  4. i wouldn't store it in the fridge but would advise chilling before necking it

  5. temperature of around 50 deg F but unless you have a underground cellar that might be a bit hard

but next best thing a cool, dark place

  6. Better than the counter but far from ideal. A basement would be better. The vibration in the fridge is bad for the booze!
