  1. I think so. They were poor against Namibia (they were lucky to get a controversial bonus point) and were lucky to win against a second-string Georgia team and against France they only managed a solitary drop goal (France are a very good though). From what I have heard from my Irish relatives and there announcers, they feel that Sullivan has become too technical and forgetting to keep the basics (Not that Ireland has done a lot of ball mishandling and knock-ons in every match so far). I thought they would be competitive, but they look nothing like the team of old. Sullivan ultimately as the manager should be responsible.

  2. Absolutely.

Eddie has reaped what he has sowed, he took a team which was fashioned by Warren Gatland and has basically just stuck with it. He has developed no-one,  sticks with 15players, refuses to use subs which would give them international experience and get them used to the pace and the time available for decision making. He brings on subs with 5 mins to go ?!?!!? What use is that ?

Therefore, O'Gara playing awfully and who has he developed to slip into the groove - no-one, poor Paddy Wallace has had a few token run outs. The back row are playing dreadfully, will he drop them - no. He has blind faith in 15 players so they know there is little real pressure on them to perform, Eddie is like a rabbit in the headlights, he does not know how to react during a game to change the pattern or to take opportunities, Geordan Murphy, Isaac Boss go for it and give a bit of something different but Eddie does not throw them on with 25 mins to go when they might actually change the pattern or even outcome, oh no he just sits stunned and watches the game slip completely from his grasp and then with 5 mins to go he rolls out the subs - unbelievable.

The guy has been fortunate to have an excellent squad of players (by Irelands standards) but he has become so so so predictable, all of the opposition have Ireland comfortably worked out and they never do anything really different as well as never playing anybody different outside THE 15 give or take a couple of enforced changes.

Lions coach in waiting - don't make me laugh.

    Neo.

  3. Why? Because his players are playing cr@p!

If  this was the case, then judging the way all the home nation's are playing at the moment, there wouldn't be a coach between them!
