Should elite xc change it name to WWE lite XC?

its a circus.at least have fair fights. just let kimbo lose. dont pay off the ref or pay guys to take dives. any thinking person saw that slice lost that fight to thompson and glass jaw thompson is not a good fighter.

HA! I was actually thinking of the same thing when I watch their crapfest on CBS. Some of the fights were exciting, though the fighters were c-rated. But it seems to me, Elite is trying everything they can to push fans to like the fighters they want them to like and cheer for (Kimbo & Carano). This is so with all the the attention focus on Kimbo. Even a championship fight wasn't booked a main event meanwhile a internet boxer fight is. I actually thought some of the ref's and doctor's decisions were actually elite's decision of telling them to do so. Kimbo got pounded like 20 times by Thompson near the end of rd2 and no call. Thompson got punched 4 times though he seem to me he could still fight. But the ref swooped in like an eagle and stop the fight.

No Question, in the fight between Slice and Thompson, almost looked like a fight between two pre-school kids over a toy. What was with Thompson's enormous ear that was just waiting to get popped. FAKE!!!!!

Haha seriously man. I  pay 50 bucks for a UFC pay per view and usually fell like I got my moneys worth. I saw elite xc on cbs for free and still feel like I got jacked 3 hrs of my life.

i like the title to this question lol.... i dont really think you have a right to bag on thompson..  he did respectable in pride.. he whipped don frye (if you know who that is)... do some research before you bag on thompson

Did you watch the whole fight card? Smith Lawler was well on the way to being an instant classic if not for the poke in the eye, the Carano fight was great and the first two fights were great knockouts. James Thompson would have been knocked stupid if that fight continued, he was done. Everyone says that the WEC card was sooo much better. They had a fight for a belt that was stopped by a doctor and the main event was a joke. Faber destroyed Pulver. Then to end the fight layed on him so he couldnt lose. WEAK. UFC, Penn vs Sherk was a joke as well, wow, watching a guy jab for three rounds was so much better. Elite XC and Strikeforce are way better then WEC and UFC.
