  1. Although I wanted England to lose the try was legitimate. Saw it from 8 different angles on TV and 7 were inconclusive and the 8th showed the English player to have his leg up and knee still in play clearly enough to award the try. Dickinson is a terrible ref. Said this for years. Another classic example of it. Wouldnt have made a l**k of difference though as the boks were clearly the better side.

    not try. unfortunate but good defending. only real opportunity of the game so didn't deserve to win. SA had all the class

  4. I don't think so - his foot went into touch before the ball was grounded. In fact, the piece of turf that was dislodged by his foot actually had white on it.

    Congratulations to South Africa, and well done to England for a brilliant effort.

    Good game though, England should have been given that penalty, but we did 'give away' too many.

    Anyway, all that happened was South Africa played our rugby better than us today. If the try had been given (which it should have been) then things might have been different.
