Should evat be abolished in the Philippines??

  1. no because this is where the govt. is getting its income to help the poor... and it is coming from the rich..but the question is..is it really going to the poor??  


  2. EVAT, or Expanded-Value-Added-Tax, is okay to abolish as long as people are willing to go without the programs that it is intended to support.

    I don't know a whole lot about the tax, but it looks to support education and roads.  I can't say anything about the quality of education there...but I've driven on some of the roads.

    Most people travel the Toll roads because the Free roads are c**p.  I can still visualize a fully loaded Jeepney getting airborne every few yards on the Free road from my last visit.

    In general, I hate taxes...but reality proves that some are necessary!  Now, if only governments would spend the money where they say they are taxing it for?
