  1. why should we have to do that, aren't they supposed to be upstanding honest people in the first place???? see the picture???????

  2. NO

Too many of our personal freedoms are already taken away.

Keep thinking I'm sure you will come up with a way to educate the electorate while maintaining the rights of the people

  3. No, but when the Congressmen come back to talk to their constituents, they should offer a time at night or on weekends for working people as well. That's the time to complain!

  4. No, but it would be great if the Congressmen were required to hold meeting with US on a regular basis, the ones who hired them.  It would make the Congressmen remember who did hire them and would make them more accountable. The voters would go if/when they wanted to, but the congressman would HAVE to be there.

  5. I didn't think voting was compulsory in the USA. Circa 122million people voted in the 2004 election. The 2006 American Community Survey confirms that there are approximately

    110million men and

116 million women over the age of 18 in the US. Whilst not all of this total of

226 million are eligible to vote it reflects that around

50% of adult age US residents are not voting for what ever reason.
