100 highway miles, and 50 city miles so that they, themselves, can learn how to be a better driver? I notice people who drive these trucks tend to be a lot better drivers overall. Plus, i am sick of seeing people do some really stupid stuff on the road

  1. New cars have been "dumbed down" so much that people don't learn to drive anymore. They learn how to steer in the direction they want to go and that's about it. With anti lock brakes, cruise control, traction control, and automatic transmissions, the actual skill of driving is becoming a lost art. Throw in a cell phone stuck in the ear and it's no wonder there are so many crashes.
