  1. I think there should be warnings like on a pack of cigarettes. Fast food was designed to be an occasional pleasure, not an everyday provider of meals.

  2. LOL....after you ban rain, you can ban fast food.

Makes no sense right? There's nothing illegal about food that is bad for you, it's up to you to eat it or not, no one forces you to.

  3. i think so i just think there stupid and it would help alot of people

  4. Absolutely.  Because if we ban everything that is potentially dangerous when used incorrectly or in excess, then all Americans will be completely safe and healthy.  While you're at it, here is a list of other things that we are in danger from.  We should go ahed and ban any manufacturers or distributors of these things:

    tobacco

    guns

    cars

    knives

    restaurants

    grocery stores

    nails

    hammers

    power tools

    processed foods

    candy

    donuts

    alcohol

    motorcycles

    firewood

    axes

    fishing poles

    glass

    should I go on?

  5. we're just selling what the people want...they know how much fat is in it as we print the nutrition info. on every products wrapper...but we don't just sell fatty food...we have alot of product on our lighter choices menu, and we also have the cafe' which also has low fat products and gluten free products...

  6. No, people need to stop blaming them for being fat. Every person can make there own choice, and everything in moderation. You just don't need to eat there for every meal. Now i do think there advertising and packaging could be regulated, they do some sneaky things to appeal to kids and adutls

And, not to mention restaurants like Chilis, TGI Fridays, Appleby's have worse food (nutritionally) than fast food chains. They are not under any pressure from gov't and public to publish nutrition facts. And when asked to, they give excuses like "it'll be to hard because every dish is prepared to make at each restaurant".

It's up to the consumer to educate themselves on what's good and what's bad, and everyone is entitled to make there own choice.

The fast food industry has the right to be here, this is America.

  7. what is the consumer market?  The public.  It is all supply and demand.  Call Marketing.

  8. How about cars they kill a lot more people.

  9. not at all, corporations. are making tons of money and even tho they are gross, they are doing there job. $$$$$ money!

its all about the money. now that no one can sue them for becoming fat....they don't care.

  10. The last I heard, some four in ten kids get their first job experience at FF restaurants.  They have to start somewhere.  If your argument is about poor food, don't visit them.  Teach your kids how to eat better.
