  1. Fast food shouldn't be limited. But their advertising should be...

When they market everything to young children its sending out the wrong information to kids and making the difficult task of getting kids to eat healthy even harder for parents.

and fast food sponsoring sport is just wrong

  2. no, isn't there an amendment about freedom of....obesity...lol.

really though, it's a personal choice what we want to eat, and as long as there are healthy choices at these resturants (you can always order a salad), there's really not much to be done.

  3. People are overweight because they eat too much and exercise too little.

NO the government is not responsible for you being FAT>

Get off you butt and exercise.

I did..  I weighed in at 298 now I weight 200..  I still eat at Burger King.....

  4. h**l no! we live in a capitalist society, they don't have a monopoly on the food industry ( there are other places to get food, if you choose not to eat fast food) People should look after their own welfare and not expect the government to baby them. Keep up that attitude, and you won't have any choices left in life, which might make life easier, but don't you like having the ability to choose? There will always be people who think this or that should be banned, if we ban everything that people complain about, imagine life then. Also, there were fat people long before fast food was thought of, and it is not fast food companies fault if the public has no self control or restraint. cigarettes and alcohol are worse for people, yet those items are not banned, restricted true, but not banned. Yes, let's ban everything that might have any negative influences so we can forget about the positive ones they might have! good- bye soda-pop, video games, TV, radio,s*x , cars, computers, Internet, all food but fruits and veggies, bars, swimming pools. Obviously all these COULD be deemed unsafe and therefore should be banned. welcome to a capitalist society, and be grateful you have the choice to decide what you want to eat, drink and  do in your free time. Remember, it's better to make a bad decision, then not have the ability to make a decision. People make people unhealthy, not fast food.

  5. yes.

less fast food places, less fat people :)

  6. limited to what?

  7. No!!! It is not the governments place to decide what is bad or good for you. Regulation = loss of freedom. People know that they are eating slop. So it is their fault if they get obese,or other health problems.

  8. Sure, let's give them something else to police and say our rights are being taken away.

  9. ya thats why so many people are over weight

  10. Only in a communist country, why don't you move to one...

  11. NO, Big brother is too big already

  12. No.  That's stupid.

  13. no.. well not in a capitalist society

  14. No.  This isn't a facist country (well, it isn't supposed to be anyway)

So leave it alone.  The government should leave personal choices up to the people.

If we want to eat fast food, then you have to let us.

  15. Shut up.

You are a lieutenant in the food police.

  16. Oooohhh, you bring up a perfect topic for a huge debate..

    Side A:yes.

They should be limited because they are eveywhere taking up lots of space.... and they take business away from ma & pa joints and old fashioned burger bars..

    Side B:No

Some people like that they can stop on their way for work fifteen minutes after leaving there house for breakfast, than running to a closer place to their work for lunch, and still have a different restaurant to go to at dinner.

It all depends on why someone wants to limit the fast food restaurants..

if it's because of american obesity, then i'd go with no, because people need to learn to get over challenges, not just hide them.

If it's because of the competition, then maybe.

    it's soooooo debatable..

  17. no. people should learn how to set limits for themselves.. sadly some cannot. the government shouldn't impose limitations on the rest of us though.

edit: by the way everyone.. this person never said if he/she wanted to limit it or not.. they just asked a question, so don't act like that is their personal point of view. thanks! :)
