  1. I think fat people will get mad before feminists will.

  2. No, not at all. Infact, they'll be burning with jealousy looking at her.

  3. just how would this uproot society? as much as its probably  exaggerated by the authors, people of that kind of mentality are just furthering stigmas about themselves and the characters they are against. society needs dose of maturity,  are there fat people in this world? yup. why discriminate against their representation in common media? why CARE  in the first place. my position is if some people can be made fun of, characterized humorously, etc, EVERYONE  can.  apparently nobody wants the character to have her cake and eat it too...

  4. The question is, if the princess has attained Feminista proportions, why would anyone want to "haul" her anywhere?

  5. No, why should they be?  I can see some overweight people getting upset about it, but if you eat too much cake, you get fat.  Its science.

  6. Well, who are we fooling? North America is a continent full of fat people. It was only a matter of time until someone made a game that portrayed it.

  7. haha I like it. They should make a fat queen, king and prince. Then you could have the whole collection.

  8. it wouldnt suprise me if they became outraged at taco bell. for crying out loud. anything seems to outrage them.

  9. I think that it is absurd to get so defensive over a game.  People in general seem to get mad over every little thing these days.  People in our country need to grow up and realize that everything may not be the way they think it should be.  Also, you never see them bashing books with a fat main character or a movie about a fat girl, so why get mad over a game?  I don't know.  Maybe they should do something more useful like getting a job that actually gives back to the community then causing an uproar over a stupid game.

(It's just a game and it's not going to make girls get fat or cause boys to think girls that are fat eat cake all the time.  Many of us guys are going to be too busy playing COD4 and other shooters to pay much attention to this anyways.)

  10. The only thing that would make fat people mad about this is the fact that they called her fat princess. It's obvious she is fat does the name help identify that in any way? no. Just like if the princess was not fat. Would Sony then call her Skinny or Thin Princess? Probably not, it would then just be Princess.

  11. They shouldn't,

    It's paying tribute to them.

It's the freedom to be who you are......and eat as much as you want with no consequence at all and not be criticized.

  12. I try to find more important things to be outraged about.

  13. There's always got to be someone that complains about something in a game, no matter what the game's about. In my opinion, it's a clever design for a game.  I've never played a game where my opponent makes my princess fat, and I have to carry her back.  Everyone should stop trying to find ways to belittle a game that could be good.

  14. No, but feminists SHOULD be outraged over the treatment the Yahoo article gave to the story, intentionally trimming and misrepresenting details in order to set things up so that people would laugh at the feminists.

Because, y'know, feminists are just so darn funny. LOL. What are those girls thinking? They should be grateful we put them in games at all, and get back to the kitchen. </sarcasm>

Is the game offensive? No, not particularly, it's just a cartoon.

What's offensive is the EAGERNESS people have to slap down chicks who are gettin' uppity. The Yahoo story contains outright lies and insults, and no one seems to mind. That's disturbing.

  15. It's an absurd game, and only an absurd person would be outraged by it.

  16. If it were a Fat Man isntead of a Fat Woman... NO ONE would complain.

Therefore feminists defeat thier cause again.  You just PROVED that women HAVE to be treated DIFFERENT than men.

The most amusing part is all the outrage will INCREASE sales of the game.

You Lose, Femi-n**i Freaks... stop making women look so pathetic.

  17. I live in Michigan and we enjoy the distinction of being one of the fattest states in the union. Over-eating is a past time here and seeing 300 - 400 lb women cruising through the potato chip aisle are a regular occurance. It's disgusting how fat people are around here. It's like they have completely given up on life and have resigned themselves to the fact that they're going to eat themselves to death.

To answer your question, I think we should bring back the days when it was socially acceptable to point at fat people and laugh. A little public humiliation used to work! Now, we're so damned politically correct that we have to accept them for their fatness...embace the fattitude!!! Makes me sick...
