I'm a Saints supporter and had them in the footy tipping, so I'd have to say no. I watched it and didn't hear any siren.

Neither team played well, so the draw was probably a good result. Accept the umpires' decision and get over it, Freo. Just be grateful Baker didn't kick a goal with his second attempt. Then you'd really be frothing at the mouth.

Update 4 May: Oh well, its only a game. It's a strange enough game already without giving the attacking team 2 shots at goal after the siren, I suppose.

yes!! it was a poor descision that should be revoked and quite frankly i hope that freo take the afl to court as it is an injustice to the game.  it has put a stain on our game forever

I didn't see the end of the game, but it was a pretty average match all round. 19 clangers in the first quarter c'mon!

But because of the standards of the game, and from what I've heard afterwards, I definately think there should be some form of inquiry.

I still can't believe Gehrig got reported - I thought he was better than that! I didn't rate that game at all

Yes!! it wasn't their fault the umpire didn't hear the siren!! They even tried to point it out but that didn't help them either!!

Yes my oath they should of. I cannot stand Afl as I am a NRL supporter, if this had of happened to my footy team i would of been rightly pissed off.

YES THEY SHOULD HAVE!!!! and I understand that it wasn't the umps fault. half the stadium heard it the other half didn't. as you saw before the umps decision for the bounce the "siren" went and I saw at least 2 dockers raised their arms in excitement for their win, Chris Connolly and the other blokes in the coaches box were congratulating each other and fans started to leave the stadium. Then the ump called the bounce so as the dockers were telling him the sirens gone that was a big distraction for them to even keep the saints away from getting that "point" AND THEN gave the saint a free kick!!!! Regardless of what the umps and others thought the siren went...marking the end of the bloody game. I'm sure that the siren has to be at a certain noise level, so if anyone is to blame its Aurora stadiums fault. What s***s me even more is that the dockers haven't won at aurora before..they played so good today - saints never got in front, then the stadium failed them! That score better get changed, its going to the tribunal, as it ******* should. I know it only means the difference between

7Th place and 6Th place but its the principal of the matter. This situation is just ******* wrong...

I'm not happy.

I am now alot happier since writing that..we've officially won..
