Should giving be more direct and personal?

Givingclip.org was founded to encourage people to make personal giving decisions based on people with immediate needs. We see these people every day needing to feed their families and struggling with health care and housing issues. $10 in a giving clip would mean a lot to a person looking for the next dollar and would reflect the caring of the giver.

This is a good thought and it does work because alot of people get busy and it is a great way to give, but I believe if you are motivated all you have to do is look out your back door and you will see someone who needs help right in your own neighborhood.
