Should golf be considered a sport?

some people say its not a sport because it requires minumal effort

i play golf and think it should be a sport

It is most definitely a sport. I get a great workout every time I play. Whether I am walking or riding. It is also competition, one of the best you can have, because you are competing with yourself as well as an opponent.

It is a mental game as well as a physical game. Just because the action isn't never ending and strategy plays a minor role, doesn't mean it is not a sport.

Sure its sport...

when you on driving range, how much energy you need to hit 100-200 balls with your driver...

when you play, you need energy to walk... If you want more exercise, then walk instead of using golf cart, want more exercise then walk faster...

Samething like swimming.... Want more exercise... swimm more or faster.

I LOVE GOLFING and i think it should be a sport it has rules and it involves physical movement and its a game so ya...
