People like to get on the cellphone ban bus but is it any different than the possibility of spilling a hot beverage on your lap and causing an accident?

  1. Then you must add smoking, eating and drinking, applying make-up, picking your nose and any other OBVIOUS thing that takes your attention away from driving. People do so much while driving, maybe we should take driving out of the equation so they can go on with their self-absorbed lives.

  2. No we don't need more laws, just command since.

  3. haha. actually i had a mock trial case about that last yr. a woman ordered hot coffee and spilled it which gave her bad burns and scarring so she sued the company. i dont think they shld be banned, its up to the person to be smart enough to wait until the car isnt moving to drink a hot beverage. plus there are guidlines that set rules for maximum temeratures so no one is severely hurt if a spill does happen.

  4. yes they shouuld be banned

  5. eating and drinking while driving is againt the law but hardly ever enforced.  like putting on lipstick etc.
