My dream is to play in the major leagues. I am 19 years old with a raw talent to play baseball. There is nothing major leauge baseball players can do that i can't. I am 6'2 180 pounds and already hitting homeruns with wooden bats, but a college coach doesnt want to take a chance on me. I have tried to walk on to 2 different colleges, and got cut both times. In high school i hit 397, but they didnt care about baseball and the scouts never came, so i was on my own to play in college. So far i have just been playing in summer leagues(greatsouthleage.com) I need money to pay for school. Should i quit baseball and work? Or should i keep working hard and playing baseball like i have been since i was five years old?

  1. Just keep trying to get in those colleges. If you are good at something, then don't quit!

  2. if you really enjoy baseball then don't quit.

  3. There are some great small schools out there.  I walked on one in NC and I was starting by my next year.  Look at D 2 schools.

  4. try going to a junior college.  better chance walking on there than a university

  5. if you love it. dont give up.. practice, practice and more practice.

  6. Don't quit unless you have something better to do.
